Choose urgent care at Ballad Health for quick, expert treatment of your family’s minor injuries or everyday illnesses – without a costly trip to the emergency room.

With urgent care, you don’t need an appointment to see a Ballad Health doctor. Just walk in for medical attention – days, evenings and weekends – if your primary care doctor isn’t available, or if you don’t have a family provider.

Conditions We Treat

Take advantage of urgent care when you or a loved one needs medical care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries such as:

  • Cold and flu, including fever, sore throat and cough
  • Ear and eye infections
  • Headaches
  • Insect or animal bites
  • Minor burns, cuts and rashes
  • Sinus infections and strep throat
  • Sprains, strains and minor fractures
  • Urinary tract infections

Services & Treatments

Ballad Health offers complete testing and treatment for all your minor injuries and illnesses. You’ll have access to flu shots as well as complete physicals for sports, school and camp to help you and your family stay healthy.

Onsite X-ray and Lab Tests

You’ll get diagnostic test results quickly when you use our convenient onsite X-ray and lab services.

Work Injuries

If you experience an injury at work, you might need urgent care or occupational health services from Ballad Health. Contact your human resources representative, safety manager or plant nurse for guidance. Learn more about Ballad Health’s occupational medicine services.

Coordinated Care

If you need more medical help after an urgent care visit, partner with Ballad Health to access a wide range of treatments and services. You’ll benefit from coordinated follow-up care among our urgent care staff, primary care physicians and specialists.

Ballad Health emergency rooms and trauma centers in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for care of life-threatening emergencies, traumatic injuries and major medical conditions.
