Those considering a career in healthcare are invited to Johnson City Medical Center’s next hiring event on Friday, April 17, from noon to 4 p.m.
During the event, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available roles and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Positions being sought include registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, phlebotomists, material management technicians, interventional radiology and radiology technologists, and a variety of other clinical and nonclinical positions.
Attendees should enter through the hospital’s main entrance, rather than the emergency department, where they will be guided to the seventh floor for interviews with hiring managers.
“As we grow our physical facility and capabilities, we’re also seeking to expand our team to meet our community’s growing needs,” said Rebecca Beck, chief executive officer of Johnson City Medical Center. “This community is full of compassionate people ready to help their neighbors, and that mindset is at the heart of what it means to work in healthcare, especially at Johnson City Medical Center.”
Ballad Health offers competitive pay and benefits in addition to opportunities for professional growth and development. The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, a flexible spending account and counseling.
Team members can also enroll in various voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, disability and pet insurance plans as well as group discounts at many local, regional and national retailers.
Ballad Health team members also enjoy a discounted rate at all of Ballad Health’s Center for Early Learning childcare facilities. Center for Early Learning – Johnson City offers reliable childcare from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. every weekday of the year for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. All children enrolled at Ballad Health’s Centers for Early Learning benefit from an evidence-based curriculum designed to ensure that its students are kindergarten-ready.
Positions are also available at Ballad Health hospitals, clinician offices and other care sites across the Appalachian Highlands. Those who are unable to attend the event but are still interested in applying for available positions can learn more about careers at Ballad Health.
