Job seekers interested in a career in outpatient healthcare are invited to attend an upcoming hiring event hosted by Ballad Health Medical Associates on Thursday, Aug. 13, from noon until 4 p.m.
The event will take place at the Ballad Health Training and Education Center, 110 Ayers St. in Blountville, Tennessee, and will focus exclusively on opportunities within Ballad Health Medical Associates’ outpatient clinics and physician practices across the region.
Ballad Health Medical Associates seeks candidates for a variety of full-time positions, including patient service representatives, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified or registered medical assistants and radiology technologists.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available positions and potentially receive a job interview on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come prepared to interview.
“Outpatient care is often the first point of contact patients have with our healthcare system, and our team members play a vital role in creating a positive experience while helping patients stay healthy,” said Meridith Okeefe, chief operations officer for Ballad Health Medical Associates. “Whether you’re welcoming patients at the front desk, providing hands-on clinical care or supporting diagnostic services, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a difference every day.”
Ballad Health Medical Associates provides comprehensive primary and specialty care through physician practices located throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Team members enjoy the opportunity to work in collaborative, patient-centered environments while helping improve access to quality healthcare in the communities they serve.
Ballad Health offers competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, counseling services and a flexible spending account.
Additionally, Ballad Health team members enjoy voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, disability and pet insurance plans, as well as group discounts at many local, regional and national retailers.
Ballad Health team members also receive discounted childcare rates at all Ballad Health Center for Early Learning locations. The centers provide reliable, year-round care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and feature an evidence-based curriculum designed to help prepare children for kindergarten.
“Working in an outpatient setting offers a unique opportunity to care for patients throughout their healthcare journey,” Okeefe said. “We’re looking for compassionate, service-oriented individuals who want to grow their careers while helping us deliver exceptional care close to home. We encourage anyone interested to attend and learn more about the opportunities available.”
Interested candidates should bring a resume and any relevant certifications or licenses.
Positions are also available at Ballad Health hospitals and care sites across the health system’s footprint. Those who are unable to attend the hiring event can explore available opportunities and apply for open positions online.
