The event will take place on Tuesday, May 12, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Cancer Center Conference Room at Johnston Memorial Hospital, located at 16000 Johnston Memorial Drive in Abingdon.
“At Johnston Memorial Hospital, we’re deeply committed to caring for our neighbors across Southwest Virginia, and that starts with building a strong, compassionate team,” said John Jeter, chief executive officer of Johnston Memorial Hospital and Bristol Regional Medical Center. “This hiring event is a great chance for people at any stage of their career to learn more about what we do and find a place where they can grow, contribute and make a difference every day.”
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with hiring managers, learn more about open positions and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come ready to interview.
A variety of clinical and non-clinical jobs are available. Key roles being sought include registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), security officers, phlebotomists and more.
Ballad Health offers competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, counseling and a flexible spending account.

“We’re excited to connect with individuals who want meaningful work and the opportunity to grow professionally,” Jeter said. “Every member of our team plays an important role in delivering high-quality care, and we’re proud to offer a workplace where people feel supported, valued and inspired to serve their community.”
