The annual Ballad Health Niswonger Children’s Network car raffle is now underway, offering a brand-new car to one lucky winner.
A $50 ticket is all it takes for a chance at a new Chevrolet vehicle. This year’s grand prize winner will choose between a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, a 2025 Chevrolet Colorado or a 2025 Cadillac CT4. The second, third and fourth place winners will win cash prizes of $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 each, respectively. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Niswonger Children’s Network.
“One of our lucky ticket holders will cruise into summer with a new car, and the best part is, they contributed $50 to children’s health in the process,” said Ballad Health Foundation president Jack Simpson. “We really enjoy this fundraiser because we get to give away a new car, and our friends at Champion Chevrolet have been making it possible for 15 years. We are incredibly fortunate to have partners who support our mission to improve children’s healthcare in the Appalachian Highlands.”
Past raffles have raised $1.5 million for the Niswonger Children’s Network. Proceeds from the raffle will support the Niswonger Children’s Network—a regional system of pediatric care that supports a brighter future for children across the Appalachian Highlands.
“Every year, it’s an honor to support the Niswonger Children’s Network,” said Andy Dietrich, owner of Champion Chevrolet. “Supporting the Network means supporting the children in our region, and it’s an honor for us to contribute to that every year with the car raffle.”
Tickets can be purchased online at raffle.balladhealth.org, by calling 423-302-3131 or in-person at Champion Chevrolet, 3606 Bristol Highway, Johnson City. Phone purchases end at 5 p.m. on June 19, and online purchases end at noon on June 20. Winners will be drawn on June 20, but you do not have to be present to win. The contest is limited to the first 3,000 entrants, and all proceeds benefit the Niswonger Children’s Network.
Ballad Health team members can sign up for payroll deduction to purchase a ticket through one or two payroll deductions. The deadline for purchasing a ticket using two payroll deductions is May 29. The deadline for one payroll deduction is June 12. Entrants must be at least 18 years old to buy a ticket.
