Virtually Check In to Your Appointment with MyChart
Save time and check in to your appointment from your computer, smartphone or tablet
With Ballad Health MyChart's eCheck-in service, you can save time at check-in by reviewing your information and answering relevant questions before your appointment.
By completing eCheck-in before your arrival, you can cut down on the amount of paperwork you'll need to fill out at your doctor's office.
How does eCheck-in work?
Before your appointment, you'll receive an email informing you that eCheck-in is available. You'll also be notified of eCheck-in by your appointment confirmation calls and/or text messages.
You can complete the eCheck-in process up to seven days prior to your appointment.
- Once you've received the notification that it's available, click on "eCheck-in" and follow the steps to update your information. You'll be asked about your allergies, any current medications, health issues and travel history. You can also use this chance to review and update any personal or insurance information that may be incorrect.
- Complete the questionnaire about your current symptoms, medical history and – if requested – reason for visit.
- You may be asked to review and sign a General Consent form. If this is required, you can review and sign the form virtually as part of the eCheck-in process.
Once you've completed eCheck-in, your updated information will be in our system. You can review the details of your appointment at any time by clicking "My Appointments" in the Ballad Health mobile app or "Visits" in the MyChart web portal.
When you arrive at your appointment, speak with the front desk to finalize the check in process. You may be asked to fill out additional paperwork upon arrival.
