Dale Clark appointed Indian Path Medical Center’s chief operating officer

An experienced healthcare leader with a track record of growth and development, Dale Clark has been selected to serve as Indian Path Medical Center’s chief operating officer.

Clark comes to Indian Path Medical Center from Lonesome Pine Hospital and Mountain View Regional Medical Center, where he served as the hospitals’ president. During his tenure at those hospitals, Clark was responsible for the successful recruitment of needed physician specialties to Wise County and opening new services for the area.

DQ® Blizzard® treat sales help Niswonger Children’s Hospital

Temperatures in our region are soaring – but there’s a blizzard in the forecast for Thursday, Aug. 2.

On that day, several Dairy Queen® restaurants in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia will come together for Miracle Treat Day, benefitting Niswonger Children’s Hospital.

During Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard treat sold at participating locations will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.

Niswonger Children’s Hospital launches Families Thrive

Babies born with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) need extra care while they’re in the hospital – and so do their families.

NAS occurs when babies are exposed to addictive substances before birth. Babies with NAS often have high-pitched cries, suffer from tremors and have difficulty eating as they go through withdrawal.
