Robotic surgery for minimally invasive procedures

All our general surgeons and surgical oncologists have access to Ballad Health's new da Vinci® XI robotic surgery system for minimally invasive procedures.

This system offers our staff highly advanced surgical technology to provide additional benefits for patients.

  • Added precision and control which leads to smaller incisions, less pain, faster healing and less scarring
  • Quicker recovery time due to small incisions
  • Minimized discomfort for a smoother recovery

This advanced surgical technology is the only one of its kind in the region – only available at Ballad Health facilities.

Bariatric and weight loss surgery

We currently do not offer bariatric or weight loss surgery at Surgical Associates of Kingsport. For inquiries about bariatric surgical procedures, we recommend contacting the Comprehensive Weight Management Center.
