A role as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) can be a great place to begin your healthcare career. CNAs are the backbone of healthcare, and they spend more time directly caring for patients than people in any other position.
Our free CNA training program presents the basics of bedside patient care with an emphasis on geriatrics and long-term care.
You’ll be fully certified after completing the course, and Ballad Health will pay for your state certification test, too!
Our new free phlebotomy training program includes the required classroom education, as well as the clinical hours required for phlebotomy certification.
Participants who successfully complete the course will meet the criteria to sit for the national certification examination, at no cost to you.
This free course comes with a required 12-month service agreement as a phlebotomist in a Ballad Health facility. We want you to join the Ballad Health team and get valuable working experience, all while staying close to home.
We offer job shadowing opportunities, nurse internships and medical resident programs for those interested in a medical career. Our training and healthcare certification courses are available for both team members and public health workers.
We’re also committed to fostering compassionate curiosity in medical science by working with the brightest and most promising students, residents and graduates in our region.
Ballad Health Academy is a high school medical training program that will provide high school students with job experience and dual enrollment courses dedicated to accelerating pathways into healthcare careers.
Graduates of the program are guaranteed job interviews with Ballad Health once they’ve graduated from high school.
Lift up patients and their families by sharing your art, music or nursing skills. Other hospital volunteering opportunities include working in our gift shops, greeting hospital visitors and working with our pet therapy program.
