Pediatric Transport Team
The transport team at Niswonger Children’s Hospital is available to transport pediatric patients by ground ambulance or with WINGS air rescue.
We send specialized team members from our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) to travel alongside our young patients.
We can transport children from anywhere in our 29-county service area.
Courtesy shuttle service
The Ballad Health Auxiliary offers a courtesy shuttle service to accommodate visitors who need assistance to the hospital entrances.
The courtesy cart is usually available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The shuttle is also available on the weekend as schedules allow.
