Vein Center

Vascular surgery is a type of surgery that is performed on the arteries and veins that lie outside the heart. Some possible reasons for undergoing vascular surgery include aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and varicose veins. Vascular surgery is commonly performed at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins on the surface of the skin. They are most common in the legs and ankles. They usually aren’t serious, but they can sometimes lead to a variety of other problems or issues. If you have this problem, you may need treatment for it.

Venous Thrombolytic Embolism Care is recommended and known to prevent or treat blood clots and how often blood clots occur that could have been prevented.
