Welcome to Mountain States Medical Group – Pain Management in Abingdon

Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We understand just how challenging pain can be to your life. That’s why our pain management team is committed to bringing you the most current advances in treatment. Our physicians are dedicated to caring for you when you need it most.

Our team specializes in interventional pain management, which is aimed at reducing or eliminating your discomfort. We provide comprehensive care including physical therapy, non-morphine medication therapy, injections and alternative therapies to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

Because of growing concerns with addiction and the lack of evidence that morphine-like medicines decrease patients’ pain and ability to function long term, our team does NOT prescribe morphine-like medications. However, we will work with your physician to make recommendations about other treatments and therapies that may help you.

We have the knowledge, experience, and the ability to provide you dedicated care, right here in our region. When you need help managing your pain, you can count on us to care for you, with experience you can trust.
