Physician Profile

About

I specialize in critical care medicine and am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. I went to medical school at Al-Quds University in West Bank, Palestine. However, I am quite familiar with this region as I came to Johnson City in 2008 and completed my residency in internal medicine and my fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at James H. Quillen College of Medicine. I am a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians. Playing soccer is one of my favorite pastimes, and my hobbies also extend to calligraphy art. While still in Palestine, I actually ranked first at a national level in the Arabic calligraphy art competition held by the ministry of education in 1998.
