Ballad Health is currently offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for a limited number of medical lab technicians, lab technical specialists, cath lab techs and medical technologists for full time positions at many of our Ballad Health hospitals.

Sign-on bonus details
This $10,000 sign-on bonus is paid in three installments over the course of a 30-month employment commitment and will be distributed on your regular paycheck.
Bonuses are available for the following full time positions:
- Medical lab technician
- Medical technologist
- Lab technical specialist

- Russell County Hospital in Lebanon, VA
- Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA
- Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN
- Unicoi County Hospital in Erwin, TN

All our medical lab technician, lab technical specialist and medical technologist roles provide the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art blood bank, hematology, chemistry/immunochemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis technology and lab equipment to ensure rapid turnaround times.
Bonus requirements
Sign-on bonuses for full time positions are available for individuals with at least one year of relevant experience.
Bonuses are only offered for new hires or those not employed by Ballad Health in the last six months.
Cath lab tech sign-on bonus
Ballad Health is also currently offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 retention bonus for registered cath lab techs in full-time positions. Eligible cath lab techs will receive the sign-on bonus upon hire date and retention bonus after 12 months of employment.
These bonuses are available for new graduates or individuals with at least one year of relevant work experience. Bonuses are only offered for new hires or those not employed by Ballad Health in the last six months.
Cath lab tech sign-on and retention bonuses are only available at the following facilities:
- Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN
- Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN
- Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN
