Welcome to Ballad Health Medical Associates – Pediatric Endocrinology in Johnson City

Our Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes team provides care for children throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia with hormone and gland problems – including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid disorders, puberty-related disorders and other hormone dysfunction disorders.

Examples of the disorders we treat include:

  • Growth problems
  • Early or delayed puberty
  • Enlarged thyroid gland (goiter)
  • Under or overactive thyroid gland
  • Under or overactive pituitary gland
  • Under or overactive adrenal gland
  • Disorders of calcium regulation
  • Ambiguous genitals/intersex
  • Ovarian/testicular dysfunction
  • Type 1 and 2 diabetes
  • Prediabetes and metabolic syndrome
  • Problems with Vitamin D (rickets, hypocalcemia)

Clinic hours

We’re open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays 8 a.m. to noon.
