Nephrology requires precise and delicate treatment for your kidneys. Our physicians are dedicated to caring for you. We understand your concerns and are committed to providing world-class care for you, right here in our region. When it comes to nephrology, we have experience you can trust.

The primary focus of nephrology is the study of diseases affecting the kidneys. This area of medicine is essential because proper kidney function is absolutely vital to maintaining your body’s fluids. The kidney’s most important roles are to filter waste from blood and to regulate the balance of electrolytes.

Two of the most common diseases affecting the kidneys of people in our region are diabetes and high blood pressure. While prevention through diet and exercise is always recommended, our experienced physicians are here to help. Our team combines the most current treatment options with their expert knowledge to support individualized care for you when you need it most.

Some common issues we treat include:

  • Chronic kidney failure
  • Diabetic nephropathy
  • Kidney stones
  • Polycystic kidney disease
  • Reflux and obstructive nephropathies
  • Renal parenchymal disease
  • Urinary tract neoplasms
